Luisa è appassionata di danza fin da bambina. La sua avventura nel mondo delle danze americane è iniziata con il Tap dance nel 2006, subito dopo ha scoperto il Lindy Hop. Si è mossa attraverso diversi stili, in coppia e da sola – Modern Jazz, Blues, Balboa, Shag, Boogie Woogie, Danza Contemporanea… se c’è musica, la troverete a ballare.
Nel 2014 si è innamorata del Blues che è diventato il suo principale linguaggio di danza. Ha partecipato a diversi festival Blues internazionali, ha iniziato a insegnare nel 2017 perché ama condividere la sua passione e far crescere la comunità Blues locale. È una delle organizzatrici di Porto Swing Jam, Porto Blues Exchange e Blue Monday Festival. Nella sua danza valorizza una forte connessione con la musica, usando il suo corpo come uno strumento per esprimersi pienamente.
Luisa has been passionate about dancing since she was a child. Her adventure in the world of American dances started with Tap dancing in 2006, soon after she discovered Lindy Hop. She has moved through different styles, partnered and solon – Modern Jazz, Blues, Balboa, Shag, Boogie Woogie, Contemporary Dance … if there is music, you will find her dancing.
In 2014 she fell in love with Blues that has become her primary dancing language. She attended several international Blues festivals, started teaching in 2017 as she loves to share her passion and make the local Blues community grow. She is one of the organisers of Porto Swing Jam, Porto Blues Exchange and Blue Monday Festival. In her dance she values a strong connection with the music, using her body as an instrument to fully express herself
